Old Fashioned Staple! Can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Fried Chicken is our family's favorite. Try the potato salad you won't regret it!

Great place to eat!! Food and service is great!! Highly recommend it. A hidden gem in Norwood Young America

Great little family restaurant with wonderful homemade food! The service is always very friendly!!

Hillcrest is amazing! I love their homemade food!

Tried this place for lunch with coworkers, a total of 17 in our group. It appears to be hole in the wall Country Cafe. It was good but I think for the most part, the food is not homemade...purchased and prepared. The pies are bought elsewhere and baked there as are cinnamon rolls. The gravy is for sure bought. The burgers and chicken sandwiches are very small in size. Many of our group had the beef commercial, it was a large portion and good too. They do NOT take any kind credit or debit cards! Cash or check only. No ATM either !! I will go back but thought I would give a review and post so no on gets in a bind with a credit card. We had excellent service and overall the food was good.

Just a 1/2 mile south of Hwy 212 on Hwy 25 & 5, is the classic Mom & Pop cafe that used to be in every small town. The food is homemade, tasty, and plentiful! You won't find anything outlandish or fancy on the menu. Just solid, home cooked meals. Their chicken is hands down the best in the area! The breakfast menu is outstanding as well. They do have a small buffet that includes a salad bar too. If you're in the area, or passing through, do yourself a favor and stop in for some of moms home cooking.

Love eating here. This is good, old fashioned cafe eating at its best. Prices are very, very reasonable, and the potato salad is the best I have ever eaten. We come here just for the Chicken buffet and potatoe salad. You can even take home potatoe salad in quart size containers. YUM!
